Here is a good place to tell what you think of the game now that you can play it

Epic graphics and feeling, cool cars and full servers ^^.

But I hate the trees aside the road, because if you drive closer they look stupid. Hopefully Nadeo will make a patch for that^^

For me, TM 2 is a tremendous success !!! =p

I love Canyon so far. There are lots of blocks to play with, and community is doing good job! Car is something I need yet to get accustomed to, but I'm doing pretty well. I'd say it's my second or third favourite car out of TM1&TM2. Air control is more restricted, but I think it should be, in a way, greater.

About the game itself: While I like most of new additions like copypaste, plugins and new block selection (after a time, it will feel more natural than the old one), I think this game doesn't differ enough from TM1: Mediatracker is as awkward as it has always been, nothing really new with terrain editing (I actually prefer the old version) and even strange hotkeys are the same, and cannot be changed (ctrl + Z takes you to underground mode, anyone?).

I still haven't touched the editor (should do it asap) but the gameplay is quite amazing. The fact that the drift is under your control is actually the only thing I wanted from this enviroment, and my expectations were fulfilled in that aspect. So far it has been a lovely experience, I do miss some things tho, like cam7 (can't perform my pre-race ritual to quickly check cam7 before driving) and some more scenery blocks to make a scenery freak happy.

More thoughts on editor later on. :p

Oh, cam 7 is there!
Press cam 7 twice and then move around using the arrow keys

well, starting from the editor, i have to say that's really confusing, but once you know how the blocks works it has a huge potential. The worst thing are the "terraform" + bridges and tunnel placements, these are really hard to undertand. Rest is basically a mix between island, stadium and coast building.

The gameplay looks really cool atm, the cars drift really easely once you gave the input with the brake; but on the other side they should have made possible to make the car sliding due speed (aka speedslide), and that's something i really miss.

No aircontrol.. this make everything harder, it requires a lot of precision (imo gamepad has an advantage here).

Styles? Let's see how the game evolve, but tech will be the most used..FS (=no drifts at all) will be harder to handle because of the low steering range of the car at high speed, also without air control will be harder to build smooth and big fs jumps..

That's all from my side atm :)
