I registered 137 days ago. (same day I buyed canyon) I downloaded from this site 151 tracks. Awarded 78 (use to search by awards or high value and often try BOTW)...
Now there's 12.476 tracks in this site... So this project is TOO big for me... (and maybe for everyone! XD)

Anyway I think is an insane project! So I like it! You are really hardcore racers!!! (y)

You got my admiration! :)

Me too, but I drove a few tracks I had on my hard drive while MX was down :p
Plus, we just have to drive about 12700 tracks now instead of more than 14000 before the moving of MX :p

IDs aren't re-used if someone removes their track from MX.

So even though the IDs are up to 14000, there are only 12000 tracks still posted here.

That has nothing to do with the move. It was like that before the move.

Regarding my own testing, I've been pretty busy with other things lately. But rest assured I haven't given up on this project. I'm looking forward to testing more tracks, and I'm really happy to see others still cranking away at it.

I will however be stopping the youtube track project to post every track. It was a bit over-ambitious and took way too much time.

If I find the time and motivation, I will try to do a top5 or top10 on my main channel for every 100 or 200 tracks I play.

Keep going guys! (y)

Yeah, but if I remember it correctly, before the move the number of all tracks shown at "Find tracks" was over 14000 whereas it's now 12700. I was referring to that actually ;)

I looked at "Find tracks" just a day or two before the move, and I'm 99% sure it said around 12000 tracks.

So about 2000 tracks that were uploaded have been removed by the authors.

It's not uncommon for people to upload tracks and take them down again, for various reasons. Updating the track and wanting the new copy to be bumped on the site, or they realize the track didn't receive any feedback... and so they took it down. I'm sure people have various reasons I haven't even thought of. I know on TMUF I removed a lot of my old tracks at one point because I realized just how crappy they were and I felt they reflected bad on my reputation.

Some people also upload a track to put on a server, and then delete it from the site.

Anyway, I think your main concern was that tracks are being lost. I don't believe that is the case, at least not by fault of the site. Although Forzyy would have a better idea of such things than I would.

Lol, I just thought for a few seconds about such a prject a few days ago, but I just thought it's too much... Then I found this thread really someone doing this...

I think it's awesome that some people are doing this, but I won't take, part because first, projects like these are too huge for me, 2nd, tbh, I sometimes see tracks that really make me crazy, and 3rd, I'm allways needing muuuuuch time till I got a suitable replay.

But I really support you in this, I gonna look forward to how far you gonna continue this. Also subbed your Youtube channel, I wanna see that constantly :p

I won't take part, but in future I gonna drive and hunt much more tracks, that I can take part at least a little bit ^_^

Thanks for the support Nimrod!
I've decided to only upload videos of tracks I'm awarding... otherwise it was going to take way too much time. I will try to catch up with that soon.

That's really the spirit of this project anyway. (y)
