I have a message from one of the judges:

The quality of the tracks is so horrible that after driving them all, he is so frustrated he cannot give points today. You'll have to let him build up his psychical stamina again :-)

hehe I wouldn´t say that - It´s the opposite: the offroad standards are brought to a new limit here, well allmost all the tracks show new and fascinating designs which have to be extensively explored :o

unfortunately this takes a large amount of time - far more than usual - so sorry for the delay but I´m done with judging - feeling a bit exhausted now - going to play dungeon keeper for a while to relax lol :wait:

Thanks for narrowing down who said it. lol
Actually I didn't say the tracks were horrible, but that they were very frustrating. I suppose that could mean the same thing, depending on if you like frustrating tracks or not. I generally don't.

Well the luckiness of the offroad hillclimbs put me in such a bad mood that I had to take a break from judging for a couple days. I didn't feel like I was objective anymore.

But I'm back at it today. (y)

It's great to hear you finished wait! :)

Great to hear that you´re back on it but take your time - canyon offroad and even stadium offroad are hard to master but the tracks and their builders probably deserve a closer look as they did put more time into it than 30min...well at least I think so...

Yep, this stupid offroad challenge had me spend more time with a map than ever before, really. Alone testing it was horrendously tedious. At the end I developed this syndrome when you fall in love with your abuser, you know, and actually started enjoying the runs. I can't imagine any other human being to go that far with my or anyone's map on this challenge, hehe. But well...

Good luck fighting your way through them all. I hope you can keep an open mind, don't even try to record "first impressions", because they somehow cannot possibly be good. I wouldn't want to judge this round for sure! :|

This is exactly how I feel about my entry to the June MTC!

"Well I thought that run went pretty smoothly," he said to himself five hours after starting validation. Looking at the clock back in the real world, he mused "Perhaps that section is unfairly difficult and confusing, I should change it." :(
