This is wrong, what has been played was rounds instead of time attack.

But a nice turn up, 41 players! Let's see how many are going to show up at the 22.00 gmt version.

What time is it now? This morning everybody said 10am. At 10 am GMT the comp. didn't start because the server wasn't on daylight savings. That's why it actually started at 11am.
So if they say it's 20:00 GMT, does that mean the server's time (without daylight savings) so at an actual 21:00 GMT or not? I'm confused here :s

Use a page like this : http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

Select your location from the drop down and it tells you your time (check its right) and by how much you are plus or minus to GMT.

in the UK we are GMT+1 which means 20:00 GMT = 9pm local time.
in much of Europe, they are GMT +2 which means 20:00 GMT = 10pm local time.

In the winter, the UK changes its time to be GMT, while Europe changes to GMT+1 (this is due to daylight savings changes). In other parts of the world they all do their clock changes or not at different times.

GMT itself never changes (it has no daylight savings), this is why it should be simplest if GMT is the base mark for the knockout start times.

So long as our mods know what GMT is, then all you would have to do is familiarise yourself as to your local time relative to GMT and you wont miss a start.

I'm just confused and keep forgetting that when it's daylight savings and you live in London, Dublin, ... you actually say it's GMT + 1 and not just GMT, as I thought it would be. :o The only reason why we do that is to avoid more confusion I suppose. Mmmm, which odly enough confused me :$

Pfff living in Ireland has made me dumb :p

Thanks! MrA
I'm fooled by my own ignorance not to have looked at the site in the first place.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
