Blockmixing: first steps 02 October 2011 00:36:36
Hello.

I’ve read a thread in tutorial section about blockmixing and figured out that there’s no blockmixing tool for TM2 at all. And all maps are compressed so the result of your work in HEX editor is sometimes unpredictable.

Well, this is all i can offer for now: just a decompressor. I will probably make a more handy tool in future ^^

I don’t even have TM2, but a quick test showed that this tool must work. So please give me some feedback.

Read my post for a little bit more info.

See parts 1 and 2 of this tutorial. My tool is alternative to ReCompressor for TM2 (Well, looks like it works for all TrackMania versions, even for TMN ESWC)

To find the information about the blocks: search for "/Comments" in HEX editor and look somewhere after it, not far away.

Good luck!

Very nice tool, works great for me. Might help if it was open source tho. (lazy me)
I'll update my topic/tutorial with your tool.
