MTC - Roads More Travelled

These roads are kept in good condition for the daily traffic. Perfect for long road races.

This course is was made specifically for the December/January 2017/2018 MTC! It's also quite special to me as a sort of spiritual successor to MTC - Roads Less Travelled, which I consider to be my best map currently. I've grown a lot as a mapper since then, but that was my first truly ambitious map. This one isn't quite as ambitious, but it certainly isn't simple.

You'll find yourself facing many challenges across the four minute drive of this course. Nothing's exceptionally hard, but this course isn't nearly the cruise its predecessor was. I did bring back some of my favorite aspects, though; you'll be racing the sun with a four minute day cycle, you'll be traversing varied areas with unique scenery, and I couldn't help but reverse the ValleyCar on Canyon setup to make this course's CanyonCar on Valley setup.

All in all, I'm quite excited to finally have an excuse to put together a pseudo-sequel to one of my best creations. Even if this doesn't live up to its predecessor, I hope it's enjoyable and creative enough to be a worthy successor.
