Hello ManiaExchange,

It has been a while since I have not shown any sign of life here. So I would like to show you my latest creation for Trackmania² Canyon, a new fast-paced track called Deadland.

"This place once housed one of the most profitable oil farms in the country until a critical accident occurred in sector 0-4. The consequences were such that the company decided to evacuate the whole area and its surroundings. Everyone left now, everyone except a few reckless drivers who decided to make use of the main motorway – or rather what's left of it – and turn it into a frightening race track, capable of pushing even the most skilled drivers to their limits."

The development of this track was quite disturbed to say the least: originally designed for the MTC of January 2016 – you read it right, 2016 – it had then to be part of a potential EP that was cancelled shortly after the MP4 update. But at this point it would have hurted me to scrap it altogether so after another year of work I am finally able to release it to the public.

As usual I decided to go with a subtle mix between style and time hunting. The raceline gets pretty straightforward after 3-4 runs and features a ton of cool autodrifts, calculated transitions and spectacular drops. But there is still room for time hunting with not-so-obvious optimal lines that will make you try and retry again and again. Going under 51’ is a great achievement, I don’t know if a sub 50’ is possible… Time will tell :)
