Recommend: (at least) NICE quality setting! The map uses colorFX and depth of field.

HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL in terms of looks, this is my first RPG attempt. I tried to keep it relatively simple, so maybe you RPGler out there will find it too easy (?!), I don't know, but I even enjoy racing it for time, really. But then I may be the only one, who enjoys this experience here, hehe, there's that chance. So, I apologize for all those, who went through the trouble of checking it out (yep, you might be the only one, haha, so drop me a note and I'll apologize personally!).

Anyway, you out there, who's even only remotely like me, be ready for one heck of a delightful time, hehehe! :p

I'm posting this W.I.P, because I want to know, if I should continue with the same kind of focus or can relax, knowing it's only for me anyway. It's quite a bit of work, even if it's fantastic pleasure for me, but making dozens of street signs and designs for fake-brands and all the gimmicky stuff can get a wee bit tedious, pfff. 8-|

STORY thus far:

Somewhere out in the desert there's a hidden and fenced town called "Toystone". In the late 1950s "Toystone Mining" poked a weird energy stream during operations and irradiated the whole region by accident. The effects where only psychological at first, but severe hallucinations combined with the desire to be young again eventually debilitated all the locals and rendered them useless and helpless. Bizarre choices were made to remove all doors and windows from buildings, build suspended streets, seemingly chaotic and create all kinds of absurd architectures. Eventually the military was called upon to close up the whole place, but even they had casualties and abandoned the efforts eventually. They only did get to install Checkpoints, which tried to zap away some of the confusing forces at work at this mysterious place...
...what's in the mines, what influence might've trapped other people there earlier, what civilizations, structures might be buried there from long ago?
...if you actually care, I'll keep "digging" for Ya'! ;)
