I'll give it a try but if you don't like what I build feel free to give my piece to someone else. :p It does sound fun though. :)

I hope eyebo will do some quality control, but please don't hand over all responsibility to him.
I guess if eyebo rejects a track, it has to be really bad. Be responsible yourself in the first place. You can also let your track be testet by one person; do it, if you're not sure that your track is driveable.
Remember, that if you mess it up, you don't just fxxk it up for yourself, but for everyone else.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you can do it. ;)

(Sorry for my bad english today)

Downscaling is probably the correct decision, true!

As there will be empty spaces between our trackparts after downscaling the project, are we allowed to use clips at the edge of our 5x5 zones?
So that your first example would be possible?
Just asking =p

Considering the way the grid has changed, having clips facing the outside of the map would be okay now. (y)

Due to the change in this rule... if anyone who has already submitted their map needs/wants to update it, you can still send me an updated copy.

Yeah, I don't think I'd ever outright reject a track. I might request that they fix or rebuild some part if it was too lucky or would otherwise ruin the general flow of the map. I'm quite open minded when it comes to track styles though and I think having a variety of different styles will be what makes it interesting to drive.

Hans Holo is right though, having someone beta test your map isn't a bad idea. Even if you're a great driver and you know that your section is smooth, your prior knowledge of the track might mean that you could neglect signs in important places. A beta tester can help alert you to such things. If you don't have anyone to test the map, I will also be checking it when I receive it.

Here's my 3-minute monstrosity of a slow tech track (starts from top to bottom) :p

It's probably going to be pitch black by the time it gets put in the final track... the only thing I can do is hope to fit some "underneath lights" in spots that won't wreck the track.

There looks to be some GP blocks nicely spaced out in it. Lighting should be okay. ;)

It looks awesome! :d

You will make a video of it or eyebo? We should use all the same signs in my opinion default or mx blue ones :p And the guys who build from the top to the bot have to be carefull for cuts..but anyway I think the final track will have cuts anyways :d
eyebo: Could you send my part with the start+finish block? I want to start building..
