Very quick question: how do I put mods on a map? what's the .loc thingie, how do I use that? In my case, I want to use the winterland mod from dvd. I'd be so grateful if anyone could answer this for me :)

only save the downloaded file from maniapark in
documents/maniaplanet/skins/canyon/mod
then open a new map and then you can select between all your mods and the normal surrounding

yea, but do I need that locator for others to see the mod on my map? Because everytime I tried to upload a map with a mod, noone saw the mod :s Thanks for the information nonetheless :)

I just downloaded your 'brown city v2' map to check, and actually, the mod doesn't load :| Then we have the same problem ^^ Quite a nice map btw ;)
