Description

It's once again time for another Trackmania Open Team Cup. This year we're doing it a bit different, we will only be selecting 3 maps for a single map pack during the competition. Therefore we have chosen to limit the amount of maps per author to 1, to make sure that the maps that we receive are of higher quality.

Map style will be similar to last year, but we will allow slightly more difficult maps, if the quality is high. Below you'll find the map requirements, if you're unfamiliar with last year's maps.

– Titlepack TM² Stadium by Nadeo
– Mood Sunrise, Day or any custom time between those two
– Style Tech
– Difficulty Challenging but enjoyable.
– Length 55 – 65 seconds

– Custom Items/blocks Allowed. Please only use them in a modest way and don’t build your map around them. Make sure to not use embedded items from a titlepack other then the default stadium titlepack!
– Blockmix Allowed. Keep it clean and don’t overuse it. It must not cause any visual glitches or flickering.
– Scenery Maximum Display cost: 2500cc. Keep it light-ish and don’t block visibility with it.
– Checkpoints Respawnable. This includes to place them in the correct direction and to keep the track finishable without any trial strats after a respawn. Also place enough checkpoints.

– Deadline 22nd September
– Submission limit 1 map per author. Duo maps count as one map for each author.

Your map must be known only by yourself and must not be seen by anyone else before a possible release. Therefore building live on stream is not allowed. Declined maps from other tournaments are not allowed if you don’t rework it significantly according to potential feedback from the past.
