The last time I played a puzzle map was for the MX 2015 advent calendar. There was a "Weekly Puzzle Challenge" that I tried out. I was terrible, naturally, but it was very cool to see such a maptype in TM2. I was curious about being able to build that kind of map myself, but not to the degree that I bothered pressing for tools and such.
Enter the
October 2017 MTC, where the entire point is to build one of those puzzle maps. It's certainly a unique challenge compared to the usual, since the entire goal of a puzzle map differs greatly from a standard map. It's no longer about finding the most optimal line, but finding the best use of the blocks givin to craft that perfect line.
Keeping this in mind, my goal was to provide more than enough blocks to get the job done, but not give a clear optimal route. Even when I playtested my map, I found my best route to be different from what I initially thought. Getting a time isn't a problem in this map; it's how you knock off the seconds that will test you.
Features
- Ultra quality shadows!
- An intro sequence! Even though it doesn't play...
- Blockmixed GP/road blocks! You don't need to worry about their clips.
- 8711 coppers of scenery at 15:30!
- At least two tested routes, with possibility for more!
- A dumb name that abuses the naming rules!
Good luck and have fun!

Due to the nature of a puzzle map, I won't be making a preview video for this one. That might spoil the fun of discovering the best route yourself.
