Hiii M'X !
As always, it's time to tell you my life ! ^^
I'm really happy and at the same time sad to publish, and announce you, that this Dirt track may be my last one. Some months ago I told the end was coming and there it is. This map is without any hesitation one of my most accomplished building, and what a better ending than a selection for the
Gamers-Assembly 2015 ? I'm really proud to had a map taken for this event, which is the biggest Dirt LAN and one of the major TM LAN in overall with it's 4 tournaments for something like 100 players.
5 years after launching for the first time the editor and 4 years of competitive mapping, it's time for me to take my "retirement". I was (one of) the last
pantseri's era mapper, and my biggest whish would be to have the happiness to see a sign from him on this track-page. I hope this track-building philosophy won't die. Diversity of mapping style is really important for the game, and I hope new coming mappers will find their own one. I know it's possible, I trust on it. Remember that spending more than 15H to work on a single track isn't a shame, but the key of the success.
Well, it's time to speak about the track itself. As I said it it's imo one of my most accomplished and original production. I took a lot of time to find new jumps, news uses of blocks, new transitions. Something like 20H I think to search, find, and work it to be smooths as the best. For the "radical" Dirt players it may not be their cup of tea of course, due to many transitions and full-speed parts even if it's really technical and hard to manage it perfectly. The average speed is good so this map should offer nice fights on GA, and it's what we need !!!
To finish, what I said above stay right, if you see a new map from me published next month, it's normal. The Winter Race Challenge also selected a map from me, but unfortunatly for the playoffs and I'll have to publish it later because of that.
Cya my friends, a big cheers for all my old mates of TM'X, all the Dirt mappers who gave me the mapping taste,
master94ga,
