Camera Effect Script, Editing Cut and Trails

Does anybody know what Camera Effect Script, Editing Cut and Trails do? I know trails was in the old game too but i never found out what it did.
The script sound interesting though. Perhaps someone knows more about this?

Camera effect script: lets you insert ManiaScript there. I haven't got it working yet, and there's also no documentation available for Maniascript :/
Trails: Cars leave light trails. In TMUF, ltrails were supported in all enviros except stadium.
No clues about editing cut...

I suppose "editing cut" is non-functional right now.
I HOPE it it will do something similar as handling different offset values for imported replays, working along well with the timespeed function.
