The problem:
When searching for a track you don't know if there is a cut in it. Sometimes you can see it by comments form someone, but you can't see it from the list.
I'm regularly bulk adding tracks to the Smurfen server to test. And some tracks are really cool but not suited for cups because there is a cut in it. You could check the comments for each tracks you are adding but that requires much more work and it should be even better if you could see it from the 'Find tracks' list.

Suggestion for solving the problem:
Add a button for the site users to report a track as 'Cuttable track'. This will work a bit like repoting abuse but ye, more friendly . The track author receives a notification about the report(s) and can update the track. After updating the 'Cuttable track' flag will set to off again.

This will make our lifes in MP even better .

What about writing a simple comment about the cup on the trackpage?
The author will get a notification, too, and he can reply to it or update the track information to inform about the fix of the cut

EDIT: okay this totally doesn't help with servers being able to read, if there is a cut or not. But I guess you would see it on MX, when looking for the map ID or name or whatever info necessary to add the map on the server
