really great runs everyone :) one thing I noticed is that almost everyone did not use the full map area...which is a big part of FC judging ;)

how to judge.txt

how to rate:

Tricks: total points per trick

2 pts for a 180°
3 pts for a classic trick like a 360° or a backflip
4 to 6 pts for the other tricks, it depends on the judge's appreciation, based on originality, difficulty and fluidity of the trick

Add 1 to 3 pts, depending on the height and the length of the trick, it depends again on the judge appreciation

Remove 1 pt if the landing is ok but a bit half-assed / wonky
or 2 pts if the landing is not ok (not on wheels)
or 3 pts if the landing is not ok at all (on the roof for example)

Minimum a trick will get 0 pt and maximum a trick will get 9 pts.

The ground tricks (flat) should also be rated, in the slides section.

Slides: total points per slide

The slide length:
micro-slide: 2.5 pts
a small one: 5 pts
a normal one: 7.5 pts
a long one: 10 pts (or 12.5)
a very long one: 15 pts

Then add the points concerning the way the slide is reached:
using a straight or slightly inclined jump: + 0 pts
180°: + 2.5 pts
360°: + 5 pts
Concerning other combos: depends on the judge's appreciation

Combos: total points per combo

Tricks combos:
Small one (2 small tricks): 2.5 pts
Normal one (difficult one): 5 pts
Crazy one: 7.5 pts

Slides combos:
Double slide: 2.5 pts
Triple slide: 5 pts
Quadruple slide: 7.5 pts

Transfers combos (jump from one module to another without touching the ground):
Easy one: 2.5 pts
Normal one: 5 pts
Crazy one: 7.5 pts

Ramps/Modules on 100 pts: personal appreciation of using the modules during the whole run

Examples:

Stagnating in the same place: 10 to 50 pts
Use of a small portion of the map: 50-55 pts
Use of a quiet large portion of the map but many repetitive passages: 60-65 pts
Use of a quiet large portion of the map but staying often on the ground: 60-65 pts
Use of a quiet large portion of the map and going up and down: 70 pts
Use of a quiet large portion of the map and going up and down + use of high located module(s): 75-85 pts
Use of all the modules (almost impossible in 2 min.): 90 to 100 pts

A high located module is a module on the top of the map for example

Originality on 100 pts: personal appreciation

The most original run:
Not 2 times the same trick, only varied tricks
The rider does not used 2 times the same module
Original tricks: combos, rarely used tricks, using difficult/inaccessible modules
Technique used to reach modules

Style on 100 pts: personal appreciation

The most "styly" run:
No halts
No involuntary collisions
The run is fluid and uninterrupted, no research between modules (the rider knows his run)
Jumps/Slides landings on the 4 wheels
Personal style touches

Chrono penalties:

From 1'55 to 2'05 there is no penalty.
Beyond it's 1 pt less per second out of this range.

+ respawns penalties: 5 pts for the first one, then 15, 30, 50, 75 pts ...

Examples:

If the run lasts 2'09: 4 pts
If the run lasts 1'45: 10 pts

Some tips:

Try to keep in mind the different criteria to analyze the more you can during the 1st watch of each run.
A good thing is to open TM in windowed-mode (800X600) and just below to open the Excel sheet in reduced-mode to be able to rate at the same time you watch the run.
The best is to rate all the replays the same day or in 2 days, making a pause at the half of the replays for example
in order to keep the same spirit, the same level of severity, kindness…
In TM, open the replay in editing mode, to take advantage of the timeline, in order to be able to go back when you want
Try to rate in good conditions (when you won't be disturbed, listening to a pleasant music can also be a good thing)
but it's up to you ...^^
