Welcome to the third ManiaExchange 90 Minute Contest / [90MC] on March 31st, 2017, brought to you by   Solux &   iHq/fredair.esu.

The task in this competition is to build a track in 90 minutes or less, according to the theme which is announced at the start of the edition. Before the end of the 90 minute timelimit the track has to be uploaded to MX and a link to the map has then to be posted in this thread (the latter being excluded from the timelimit - only the upload time counts). The competition starts as soon as this post is released.

• The theme of this edition: Ups & Downs
  Implement at least 5 different drops or jumps into your map.
  
  • Definition for a drop: The car lands at least one block lower that the inital position while moving at least 2 blocks forward or it is at least 0.3 seconds in the air and landing at least one block lower than the initial position.
    
  • Definition for a jump: The car lands at least one block higher that the inital position while moving at least 2 blocks forward or it is at least 0.3 seconds in the air and landing at least one block higher than the initial position.
    
  • If one of those two conditions is fullfilled, the jump / drop is legit.
    
  • Jumps / Drops like this are ok, it doesn't have to be 100% one block
    
  • Definition for "different": At least one of these factors have to be different:
    
    • Places where the car lifts of & touches the ground - Distance / Angle
      
    • Used Block where the car lifts of
      
    • Used Block where the car touches the ground again
    
    
  
  
• General Rules
  • Everything has to be built during the competition timespan - using preexisting maps or macroblocks is not allowed.
    
  • Use the tag [90MC - 3] to mark the track as a part of the competition.
    
  • The map has to be 15 to 90 seconds long.
    
  • All ManiaPlanet Environments & Styles are allowed
    
  • Custom Titlepacks are not allowed (you may only use the standard Canyon, Stadium, Valley and TM² titlepacks)
    
  • Custom Objects are allowed, same rules apply for these objects - up to 2 times.
    
  • Oversized base maps are allowed
    
  • Envimixing is allowed
    
  • Anything related to the MediaTracker will not be judged
    
  
  
• Deadline
  The competition starts at 20.00 CEST with this post being released.
  All tracks have to be uploaded to ManiaExchange before 21:30 CEST. If you fail to meet that deadline, one point will be deduced for each minute. Every map not submitted by or updated after 21:45 CEST is automatically disqualified.
  
  • To submit your track, please post a link to it in this thread.
    
  • After the end of the deadline, a judging sheet will be prepared, where everybody can rate each map on a scale from 1 (bad) to 10 (very good). To verify your vote, please post a message stating that you have voted in this thread. Votes regarding your own map will be discarded. The rating will be scaled afterwards to match the previous scale from 1 to 50.
    
  • There will also be a server containing all the maps which were submitted in this competition. You can join it here: Official 90MC Server
    
  • You are still allowed to modify the MX screenshot and comment after the deadline - just make sure not to change the map during the judging phase

PS: I know that the name is not creative or anything like that - everyone who knows me and how I name my maps is familiar with my suprising lack of skill when it comes to naming things. I'm open to suggestions for improvements regarding it
