Colon (:) in map name

I have noticed that since TM2, putting a colon character ":" in a map name causes a new folder to be created and the map name to be truncated (for example, a map named "A:B" will be saved in a folder "A" and its saved name truncated to "B". Any idea on how to use a : without that issue?

MP4 changed some stuff for names, you can not even use the normal dot ( mymap.v30 = mymap)
i guess there is no way to use it anymore

Yeah, I figured it was a MP4-specific bug ^^' Would there be any way to edit a map name without changing the file name itself ? I recall that there was a tool developped somewhere called MapEdit, would it be able to do that by any chance?
