locators download assets for a track, but from what I can tell they never update these assets even if the change remotely. How do you go about deleting this data to force the assets to download?

The cache is in C:\ProgramData\ManiaPlanet\cache

If you have a locator, it has to be placed in the same directory you would place the actual file, right? Look in with the locators. For example, mymusic.ogg should be where the mymusic.ogg.loc is. If these files are deleted, MP will re-download them next time you load the map, or at least that's what would make sense to me
