Why would you want to enhance the bass? The goal of getting good headphones is to get something that will accurately represent what came out of the booth. You want flat response, not something artificially weighted. That's just me.

if you're looking for good, progressive/alternative bands without getting into the heavy stuff, check out RX bandits. They've been atop my list for years. Resignation is such a good album
