A map bringing something new, using something old and referencing to the future.
Bringing something new means creating a new style. Everyone knows the word Tech stands for Maps with crazy transitions, many turns and drifts of all kind. This one doesn't fit really into this definition. Many Turns? Yes, indeed. But if you want crazy transitions and drifts you've found the wrong place. This one here is a Symbiosis out of Tech and Fullspeed. Tight turns and narrow passageways bringing the best of the tech style together with a 100% fullspeed-possible raceline. Still thinking how I should name this new Genre of TM²-Maps...
Using something old means the way this map is build. Just Original Blocks and Enabled Blockmixing (plus one tiny little Custom-CP) were the tools I used to create this one.
And last but not least "
Referencing to the Future" means what this map and it's name are standing for.
Everyone who plays TrackMania² Canyon from time to time should have noticed that the number of active players has massively decreased in the last two years. The same seems to happen in my clan. SFD used to be a TrackMania-Clan but it seems we switched to RocketLeague without noticing. I'm gonna leave them after nearly 3 years of fun and this one is my last map I'll try to get on our Clan-Servers.
This map was built for those three or four members who are still playing TM²C everyday - we are "The Last Of Us", the last Trackmaniacs of the SFD.
This map was also built for everyone who still enjoys TM²C and helps keeping the fun and the community alive. We, the players who are still active nowadays are "The Last Of Us". The last members of something what was called a community and we still have not lost the hope that Maniaplanet 4 will revive the game we lost our hearts to
.
Now get out there and hunt some times,
