MTC - Hotrod Miami

MP4 UPDATE: Shadows have been recalculated. Due to geometry changes, I have replaced the straight arena border pieces in the initial arena area with their other variant. Due to criticism from the MTC, I have also taken this chance to dampen the camera shake effect to 1/5 its original strength. It likely won't be notable when driving, but can be observed easily if still. The GPS and Author Time have also been driven with the MP4 vehicle and are faster than before.

Designed for the March 2017 MTC, this course is rather technical and comes with a few other fun surprises. The theme was simply to build within a 15 X 15 X 15 box with an outward finish. Obviously, this means that "escape" style courses are encouraged.

If the title didn't give it away, I had also been playing a bit of Hotline Miami 2 recently. It's quite a fun, violent, and trippy game that has such a vibrant atmosphere. Sometimes you'll question if what you're seeing is reality or not. I get the feeling that the characters are trapped within their psyche, unable to escape.

Thus, the stage was set. I felt it was appropriate to take the trippy atmosphere of Hotline Miami and merge it with the world of TM2. Can you escape your mind and return to reality? Or are you going to perish amidst the ever shifting colours?
