MTC - Last Call

Hello guys,
This is my entry for the MTC April 2018. :build: :)
The theme has been to build a 5 seconds map.

About the map:
When I've looked through the map submissions I didn't see any Valley maps and also no envimixes. And as I found LagoonCar on Valley to be a pretty decent combination for such a theme, I decided to take this. I didn't see the other submissions yet, but I assume that many mappers have used a booster at the start. So I've wanted to do sth different here without boosts and have it more techy and huntable. Also, I wanted to avoid any blockmixes or objects.

2 things I wanted to implement are a hairpin at the start, which can be driven the fastest by performing the Lagoon speedslide at the start. The other idea was the usage of trains, as it is pretty easy to get a Timing when you'll arrive at the rails in such a short map. The trains should be part of a nice, fancy finish jump. I've tested a lot of things in this regard. One idea has been to drop off a platform and roll your car 180°, landing on the train and jump upwards into the finish that you cannot reach without the train. Another idea was to jump in front of a moving train and get hit by it which pushes your car into the direction, which you couldn't get otherwise. Another boring alternative would have been to just cross the rails driving-wise and squeeze your car between 2 moving locomotives, but I've found that too boring. First 2 ideas also didn't work out that smooth without blockmixing and stuff. So I came to this soltion with the finish 1 more block away from the rails and a smooth landing in the grass slope when doing right. I had preferred sth more stunt-based, but it would have been too random and the track not enjoyingly huntable anymore. So, I've choosen this option.

For hunting it you can obviously say: the better your hairpin and the more speedboost you get out of it, the earlier you can jump to the right, which means the shorter your line to the finish will be.

Have Fun & Good Luck! ;)
