Created for the July MTC, which had a "crossroads" theme (i.e. crossing routes, crossing jumps, reuse), this track is relatively short--around 35 seconds for a good run--and only has three checkpoints.
But there are over 20 different ways to drive those three checkpoints, and all possible checkpoint sequences are around 35 seconds. And yeah, that took a lot of rebuilding, fine adjustments, and minor tweaks to make that happen.
Which way is fastest? I'm not really 100% sure. I think I got the fastest one when I set the author time (34 seconds and change), but I could be mistaken.
The checkpoints have a large marker over them, to aid in navigation, and to aid in discussion. Since the markers are red, blue, and green, it makes it easy to talk about options...e.g. "I took an RBG path, and used the wallride, but I suspect BRG and taking the back road to the finish might be faster."
I'm pretty sure someone will end up beating my AT, since I didn't have a lot of time to drive it after designing it. I look forward to any feedback, and especially replays. I'd love to see some competition on here, using the different routes!
