» AEROGENETIC OVERDRIVE (video made by shortz)
for the ESL Titlepack
You need the ESL Competition Titlepack to drive this track! Download it for free from the Maniaplanet store ingame!
Welcome to my largest TM2 project to date. It's going to be one of the fastest fullspeeders you have ever driven.
It all started roughly 2 months ago. I discovered the ESL Competition Titlepack, and the custom blocks really caught my attention. It has some amazing blocks made for fullspeeders, like tilted loops, angled platform curves and a bunch of other blocks. All fully rotational. I checked a couple of tracks and realised that nobody had used the full potential of the blocks. It was time to hit the editor.
My goal was to build super fast track with exceptional block combinations using the custom object set provided by the title pack. The stuff you can do with those objects is absolutely insane and I went really crazy in the editor. Driving the car upside down in ways you have not seen before is unbelievably satisfying and guaranteed to mess up with your sense of direction.
The track itself is a seemingly traditional fullspeeder. No emphasis on speedslides, just pure speed. The track is consistently above 700km/h, as the custom blocks really allow a really generous use of space. For the majority of the track you don't lose contact with the surface, so there are no hard jumps you need to clear. The real challenge is to maintain your speed through all the different loops and wallrides, but the track should still be intuitive enough to not frustrate the driver too much. It's essentially meant to be finished.
I'd like to thank all the people who helped me finish this track.
First of all, thank you to the creators of this Titlepack, it's really amazing and obviously this track wouldn't be possible without it.
Thank you to my numerous beta-testers, including
Zogger, JakeRay, v.neck, maxi, pascow and wormi.
Thank you
Shortz for making

And thank you
GoW for this fantastic screenie!
I have nothing else to say, hope you enjoy my track as much as I enjoyed creating it!
