I've done more comeback tours than the Rolling Stones, shit is real.
What's up MX? If you remember the last BASCO, you might also remember that I took part in the competition without much success. However, many builders in that situation decided to make a track out of their BASCO parts, and I also wanted to join in the fun. However, I was only happy with three of my parts, so I started making a track out of those.
It was originally longer and with more space between the parts, and with more "content" after the last one. I put "content" between quotation marks because if we're completely honest, there wasn't any. Just a road connecting it to the finish jump. So I scrapped a ton of it and it was reduced to its bare minimum, with only a little connection offroad section between parts 4 and 3 due to absolute incompatibility between them.
You might be wondering what's with the title. When I started making this (a bit over a year ago), there was an arc going on in a webcomic I follow that basically signified the start of a romantic relationship. In one of those comics, the girl was shown in front of portal 143, and the comic discussion forum went tits up. A quick search in Urban Dictionary returned that 143 is code for "I Love You" (because fuckers can't be arsed to type apparently). Since the track was on a nearly finished state (in its previous form) around the turn of January 2015, I thought of giving it that name (since the part order is 1-4-3) and releasing it in Saint Valentine's day. It wasn't the case, but the track was named already so... ( 'w')
Enough with that, time for the classic structure.
TRACK FACTS:
5541 coppers
Night mood (Last minute change, some might know it as a morning mood track)
GPS. Drives a time of 44.86
Didn't put any more MT. This MP MT is ridiculous and also I wanted to push the track out. Since it's not for any contest or anything I didn't mind about having a slightly sub-par presentation.
Night mood has allowed me to make it fully decorated within that copper count (b'w')b
Background music, as always. The change in mood also spurred a last minute decision to change BGMs since the last beta version that some people at FT might have seen. I've decided to put the live version of Something, by AZEDIA, instead of the Rameses B remix that the morning mood design had.
Screenshot is made by eyebo, and you can find it in all its wallpaper glory here.
44.86. It's just a funny coincidence since I had to scrap a 44.29 after I remembered that the GPS ghost was my Stratos instead of a base valley car, and I just aimed for sub-45. Luck had it that I matched the GPS time.
The track might be around 50% off-road, but I don't consider it an offroad track since the bulk of it is just the track looping back to a position where I could put section 3 comfortably. However, you still need to have a good control on that section to get good times.
Fully respawnable. Pretty easy since the track has like one hard jump and I mixed a block in to make respawns easier.
The start is a multilap block, but that's only because it's the only start block in the parking lot and that was crucial to my start (which doesn't feature a blatant dong anymore).
The track flow is Part 1 -> Part 4 (last turn cut) -> forest section -> Part 3 -> finish jump.

Thanks zone!
As per usual, shout outs to the pear and everyone at #MX @ Quakenet. I don't hang around there as often (IRC client shenanigans) but they helped with getting the track how it is today. Specially pfm, giving me the 2x1x.5 offroad-to-ground transition object that helped smooth the move from part 1 to 4 and the jump into forest after part 4.
Also big thanks to everyone at FT, they're always supportive in terms of track making. Although to be fair they never gave feedback to this particular state of the track...
And thanks to eyebo, since he made the screenshot

Showcase zone?
I'll be blunt: I have nothing planned. Between Borderlands, Nep, Forza and finishing Ridge Racer Unbounded, on top of real life stuff, it must've been a year since I've sat down and really played a track. However, I believe that at least some of these people deserve extra recognition.
First off, the BASCO 2014 track itself. This wouldn't have been possible without that competition.
Then, eyebo. He might be like 1 or 2 comeback tours behind me, but he's in there too. Plus, he made the screeny.
And finally, the one track I've sat down and played this time - Snek's entry to this month's MTC. Pretty impressive what this dude can do with a checkpoint and a couple of objects:

And thus ends another release from me. Go play the track and enjoy it. Award if you like as well. Don't let the comments fool you tho, this track hasn't been on the works for a whole year. I'd love to see your times too, I know that the dirt zones can really make some difference.
The title is full homo btw <3
