music deleted > track still valid on MX

Hi guys,

i would like to update my tracks to MP4. Is there a way to also delete the music without changing the UID, so it is still valid on MX?
My music-locators do not work anymore, because the music was uploaded to fileden.

You can always test before uploading.

Use GbxDump to look at the Map UID and compare before & after.

I'm not even sure removing the music will affect UID.

Let us know what you find out.

I've uploaded my tracks and kept the dead links. I guess it doesn't matter in the end.

But I'm still interested to know if there's a possibility to "delete" music.

Thank you eyebo! Seems like we posted at the same time.
I don't know gbxdump, but I will try it out later.
(In TM1 the track got invalid when changing the music.)

I've deleted the music on my tracks and updated them on MX. Everything's fine. (y)

Nice!

You can also change mood without it affecting the UID.

I have a feeling we're going to be testing just how much we can change without the UID being affected.
