This is a very good point. TMX/MX are taking focus on the popular authors already with the award system. Unknown authors have it hard to get recognized. By having one author taking several slots in the botw it gets even worse.

By the way, what is about a BOTM (Best of the month) ?
I can't check every map in the Botw, so i normally look for older tracks in the BOTM list..to give them a chance for a later award...would be nice when a Botw will add.

Along with that you could change "Best of the week" into "Favorites of the week".
It would eventually lessen the endless Best of the week discussions and that it's so unfair and a track with 100 awards is not 50 times better than a track with 2 awards.
Simply by changing one little word.
