We have a large 1500 Euro bill to pay by the end of February for another 6 month contract with our hosts. Its a lot of money and we have nowhere near that much in the bank, so we need to ask for donations.

About donating
We usually give some rewards for donators, but these are mostly not ready yet. As you surely know the development of the site is an ongoing thing and in some ways we have neglected to do the donations update becuase we have worked on other things. However, your days of 'priviliges' will be added to your account and the 'green title' should work. In the comming days/weeks we will add more special things such as the ability to upload larger tracks and the ability to download more than 1 track at once.

How much should I donate?
Please donate whatever you can afford, if 10 Euros is not much to you, then consider donating 20, we really need to make a big push to collect the money if we are to keep Mania-Exchange and TMX alive.

You don't need a visa, a normal creditcard with maestro will do
just choose to deposit money onto your account and you get the info to send money to your online account with homebanking for example

Ok, I am a little bit uninformed, so can you please explain something ?

Where did the money come from in the last 6 years ? Why is it now all of a sudden no longer here ?

I think I remember reading that Nadeo used to cover some expenses ? Is it since they got bought by Ubisoft ?

Have you asked Nadeo ? ( I am sure you have, but I ask anyway... ) I mean TMX is probably the single most important cornerstone of our community. If we have to shut down and nobody can exchange their tracks any more, I think the game will die pretty fast. It must be in the interest of Nadeo to keep this site up. If they dont see that, they are more blind than a bat.

as far as I remember, nadeo used to sponsor TMX. now they don't, i'm sure.

How can they be so stupid ?

I'm a little short on money but just opened my new visa card and you need to put it to use, right?

how do you know what people have donated? Do you check the emails or we have to tell you?

Sad situtation 1500 Euro for only 6 months.

Last but not least we thank Ubisoft for there support to you or not, uh well such a core-site should be supported by them I think. So Ubisoft sell 750 games and sent the money. Problem Fixed.

Its only all of a sudden becuase we let it wait until now

6 months ago, we just scrapped over the line without doing a donation appeal, while 6 months before that we had to make a similar appeal.

Its true that before that, we did get help from Nadeo / Focus, but then there was a big drop in revenue from Advertising and various community sites were told they had to support themselves. For those who enjoy a treasure hunt the threads around this will be there on United Exchange somewhere I'm sure.
