some proposal:
Some Mods are really big and some user's living in stone age and got a 56kmodem internetspeed or limited traffic. Whats about a function [in the upload track section] to load up same map two times [the author did the map with a mod and settle a seperate version per strg+m1 to normal]?
For example: A button place beside the "download" and "install&play" calling "accessibility version download" or smthg.
What do you think?

I don't think that it is necessary because you can just cancel the download of mods, signs and music ingame. Then the game jumps directly into the map.
But it downloads the mods while you play the map in the background.

If you want to disable download of content from others at all (avatars, mods, skins) you can disable it in the launcher settings
