Does the track have to be validated before checking to see if GPS works? Will i see GPS working in media tracker if done right? Because right now I can't get it to work under any condition or parameter and not a single tutorial has helped....SO, this brings me back to testing GPS.

Can I go from MT to the editor screen, hit F5 and go in reverse to see if GPS works.....if done right, it should work, yes???

If implemented properly, you should be able to initialize the GPS during the validation (waiting 3 seconds was your implementation if I remember correctly).

Sorry, what does F5 do? Does that enter validation mode?

F5 just allowed you to run your vehicle not validation....just test runs depending on where you placed your car.

I thought enter runs the car from wherever the cursor is

maybe the trigger is placed to low on the surface
