Updated 2024-07-04: I fixed the music locator, reduced the water depth for improved driving, doubled the size of the stars, fixed lighting, added a podium, and modified the start geometry.
This is my replica of the Blue Lake track from Stunt Race FX, including unique items I modeled after Stunt Trax objects and a specially modified version of an item from my
SplashPlatform collection, plus items by xrayjay and Skyslide.
From the official Stunt Race FX manual: "This course features abrupt ups and downs. This is a highly technical course and the stars (⭐️) are hard to collect. You need to use advanced driving techniques, such as pushing the gas pedal gradually and cornering carefully to excel here. Also, using the X Button to jump with correct timing is a key in this course."
Unlike Nintendo's original track, there is no timer counting down, and (as far as I know) you can't press a button to jump--you just need to approach each ramp with sufficient speed. (In the fourth area, brake after the vertical drop to ensure your vehicle lands safely in the water. Then, back up as far as you can before driving forward to the jump ramp.) However, every star is a non-respawnable checkpoint, and therefore must be passed in order to finish.
I also included the original Blue Lake music, recorded and converted from
this chiptune file. In case you can't hear the music, you can download the
.mux file. Place that file in Documents\ManiaPlanet\Media\Musics.
Credit to Nintendo for the original track design and music and OverClocked ReMix for the chiptune file.
