Just curious as it's what I mostly play now but do any MX'ers out there play any racing simulators for example: rFactor 1/2 or iRacing? If so, should have races online and if there's enough people then there could maybe be a league organised.

Iracing and Rfactor seem like very interesting games but the subscription model doesn't do it for me.

I take my runs in Forza Horizon, but that's about it for racing sim for me. Sims these days are truly focused on using hardware worth more than a real car to be minimally competitive, and that's just a no for me - Anything that needs more precision than a pad is no longer a game, and I can drive a car irl which is WAY better

Eyebo showed me this topic, he knew I'd be interested and indeed I am.
I've been playing rFactor for a while, probably the only game I play more than tm (only just) and I've collected way too many cars/tracks. It ran well on my old computer as long as there weren't 40+ cars at once. As for iRacing, I've been tempted several times with their deals and sales n whatnot but it's still just a bit too pricey for me. Then there's rFactor 2 as well, its subscription is something like $13 a year.
Oh, and I've seen plenty of people play some of these just fine with pad.
But anyway, lemme know if you guys wanna race at all, I can set up a temp rFactor 1 server for a few people if needed.

I have rFactor 1 also, a server would be cool. Which mod are you thinking of using?

I guess it's really just whatever mod/track is wanted at the time. I usually run Historic GT&TC mod with a longer track such as Targa Florio or Transfagarasan.
