Music synchronized intro
Hiho mapping freaks,

I hope you can help me out to solve a little problem I got.
I like it to built music synchronized intros where the cut is
made on the given beats.
Well, in my latest, meanwhile published map I have figured
out, If I start Maniaplanet and my map, the intro is running
like its built and can be seen in the editor all the time exactly
synchronized. But If I start the map from the mapselection tab
again - the intro is no longer synchronized. Sometimes it helps
to start a different map, exit it and restart my map again.

I have no idea what happens but it sucks soo much.
Maybe you got an idea what happens. My computer is
a real monster and all needed drivers are up to date so I have no
solution what I can do.

If you wanna help me - please run my intro from this map:

Listen to the music and you will see the cut is synchronized.
If my car appears in the screen a kind of loadingnoise can be
heard and the cut is done with an explosion sound which fits
exactly the next whitescreen and cam.
Please restart the map completely and watch the intro again.
To me it's out of sync. :s So fu&%ing annoying :@

If you wanna have a closer look I can send you a not password
protected copy.

Thanks for reading

Are you using MT sound blocks to play the music? These blocks seems to be less random in start times than music chosen in the custom music dialog.

It can also be helpful if you let the clip start a second or so after the intro begins. That's only my experience though.

Thanks for this
I'm really happy about every single idea
to fix it.
Yes I'm using these blocks. Also the sound/music
volume adjustment block.

I've figured out, if I tag the intromusic which
IS normally added as a sound, otherwise it won't work
as you know, and activate the top left music switch,
I can adjust the envisound, also the car sound
if its too loud for some more silent parts very well.

I will test your tip to add a little gap. Maybe and
hopefully it works.

Thanks so far
