I had the wholly unoriginal idea to have a bunch of ghosts in the track to race against.

Is this a good idea, is there another track that has this feature, or do the ghosts just get in the way while you're trying to drive?

Mh, the idea looks really intresting to my eyes, but sometimes ghosts are frustrating because they overlay the driving way...
For sure original, and cool.
But without light trails pls :/

Personally I dont like it. You could have a split way in the start though: Left ghosts - right no ghosts

Depends. If you make them start in advance, you can't beat them. If you make them start as the same moment as you, they hide the road...

I always drive with opponents off, as I find them distracting. I don't think I would enjoy being forced to share my view of the track with other cars.

well i like ghosts in game racing but there is ways of doing still without pigging the real driver off..one thing for sure do not use the light trails
if you do use trails only for jumps

Why hasn't anyone mentioned this yet?
Don't add any ghosts because the reduce the frame rate. A lot. At least for me. On almost max settings. Also such ghosts aren't disable...able (disableable) so they are a pain in the butt

I made a track where there are ghosts that start a while after you start, it was on TMU and It was cool because when you crashed all these cars go racing past you and it really feels like you are in a proper race.
The ghosts were cool but the track wasn't good enough for an upload on tm exchange so it cant be found on the internet. Although there are probably some similar tracks on tm exchange Somewhere.

Well once full-game is out we should be able to download other players replays and race them as ghosts right? Like in the old TMX?
