Loop editing
Hi, my first post so go easy :d

I've made my 2nd track, and it has a loop in, however, on this loop I want to force first person just for the loop, then go back to however the person had it before it.

For example: You camera view before the loop is set to 'behind' you go into the loop where it goes into first person, you come out of there loop and it then goes back in to 'behind'

This is the only video I can find, which is for TMNF - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4GBGjjPuUA

I've done as he says. On the ghost it does what I want, but when I validate the track, it goes into first person and doesn't come back out... what am I doing wrong?

Here are the settings I got for the 2 clips:

Please help, this is all I need to do to finish my track....

Thanks :)

you don't have to add Camera Race on second clip, just leave the clip blank ;)

If I leave the clip blank, then it stays in first person...

I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with your trigger placement.

you could just post your trackfile here, and we'll look what's wrong :)

smth strange is here... I couldn't make it work normally, so I just deleted the whole in-game MT and recreated it. it doesn't switch you if you just drive loop, but if you CUT it, it DOES switch. wtf?!

I got no idea... I could make it so people play in third person, but people who don't like that could get mad, and I don't really want that...

Didn't check the track yet, but it's obvious that the clip triggering is buggy. Try placing the latter camswitch one block further. This might have something to do with the angle you exit the loop in.

Try this, in the 2nd clip remove the camera block and instead put a 'TEXT' block and keep it blank. I will try and see what could be wrong and will get back to you soon.
