[the Crazy Blockmix LoL Maps Contest] a real contest with prices
thread on forum.maniaplanet



- Beginning of contest is now.
- Participate deadline is 16.11.2011
- End 23.11.2011 forum notice / winner payout / map upload

the jackpot is 5000 Planets and can be pushed by a donation to the server,
but don´t forget to say that it is to push the jackpot
otherwise it´ll be a simple donation!

Total Jackpot:
7111 Planets

the prices are:
Place 1: 2500 Planets + Operator Rank on the "lolzone1mini" server
(+50% of donated Planets)
Place 2: 1000 Planets
(+20% of donated Planets)
Place 3: 500 Planets
(+10% of donated Planets)
Place 4-13: 100 Planets
(+2% of donated Planets)

the jury is me, for the first confirmation.
then the maps´ll be given to 2 operators and 1 admin from the server "lolzone1mini"

the maps will be added on this server after the contest.


here the rules:

- build a map (on TM2Caynon)
[u can build up to 3 maps for the contest, but in this case u need to stick a main contest map and send all at once]
- time: 15-25 sec (not shorter and not longer)
- more lol the better it is
- more hard the better it is
- duty to blockmixing! (tm2unlimiter or hex) [no blockmix no win]
- NO OVERSIZED MAPS BIGGER THAN 32*40*32
- some decorations with bite can help u to win
- the map must be new and not uploaded somewhere
- and at last it must include some signs with the lolzone banner + (here is the loc file)
[u need to download this two files into your ManiaPlanet\documents\Skins\Any\Advertisement directory]
- no racial, sexual or violent expressions (map name / mediatracker)
- special characters are allowed (map name / mediatracker)

and see some maps, but pls don´t take the maps without blockmix my crew can help u at this point.

I also have 1 finished.
But its 27 sec at the moment, take a little practice to do under 25.

but in this case u need to stick a main contest map and send all at once

If i send 3 maps must i choice one of them for the contest ?

to send 3 maps is not useless.
little example: zipperke sent one map, if u send 3 maps. your sticked map is the same good on the finals as zipperkes,
then we see on your 2 additional maps what u can and it could help to win

however, at the end it´s more maps for the server if u send more as one

btw. if u got the 25 sec validation then its ok, if not try to shorten the map a bit

You don't mind if the track has custom music and signs, do you?

Off topic here, but where the heck did you get all those planets? That's more then a good 70% of the community combined! If those are from donations then your server must be quite popular.

this is 101% of topic but to enlight you,
this is just a simple Image manipulation and at this time I had 5115 Planets

about customizig:
it´s allways nice
but
- I don´t care about signs
- the server have various mods randomly set by force_mods
- I have music running on my music player
- soud effects souds more intresting

It's just that the song is related to the theme of the track. It wouldn't be fitting if Party Rock Anthem or some other song were playing - the track has a trollface theme (I felt it to be suitable since often times LOL tracks are extremely annoying and tend to "troll" the player until they figure out the correct line) and the song, Trollfest by Trollkamp, goes along with it.

EDIT: by the way, in the unlikely chance that I win 1st, give the operator position to 2nd place - I don't want that kind of power and I won't be able to fulfill my responsibilities - I'm very busy.
