Yesterday (17th of January 2019), the very first Valley edition of the prestigious True Talent Cup has been played. I have had the honor (or rather: I sacrificed myself) to provide the five maps for the mappack, which I have worked on for quite a while until I have achieved a satisfactory result.
My goal was to show off everything Valley has to offer in these five maps while having a gradually increasing difficulty level as you progress through the maps. This means I have incorporated every available surface of this environment (road, dirt, grass, field, sand, cobblestone, water, rails) to provide a versatile and never-boring experience.
I have made big use of the mesh modeler to adjust everything to my liking and to create things you're normally not able to do. Loving that tool!

Map 4 will introduce you to yet another blockset and that being the narrow forest roads. To keep the difficulty level on a managable level, the only forest road section will be right at the start. Get familiar with the blocks because you'll need that for map 5 (y) Other than that, there are more tight corners that require sliding and releasing. Choose your line wisely.
Normally I am not a big fan of using the water puddle dirt block but since I wanted to implement it into my TTC mappack somehow, I consulted my good friend called mesh modeler to adjust the block in a way that it works 100% consistently. :done:
