September 24, 1867

I increased the dosage this week to 4mg of eiboxitone per day and the results leave me somewhat shaken.
Subject 15 appears to be manifesting nightmares of a past or future automobile accident. I can hear them screaming out at night, "I'm crashing, I'm crashing!"
Meanwhile, subject 12 has begun to develop what I can only describe as a curious lunar fixation. In our daily sessions they will repeatedly ask "have you seen the moon?" or, "where is the moon now?". I wonder what underlying psycological machinations have resulted in this behavior and have recently noted myself spending more evenings on my office veranda in the light of the moonrise.
Could subject 12's obsession be wearing on my thin strands of sanity or is the strain of my experiments finally catching up with me? In either case I pray for a breakthrough soon and may god have mercy on my soul for what I have done to these poor people.
