I play 4-player split screen with steering wheels.

That's why I award tracks that are:
Checkpoint respawnable
- Tracks that aren't checkpoint respawnable are useless in split screen mode.

Have signs where needed
- Good tracks should be fun on the first go. Noone waits for GPS in split screen.
(Also MT has lots of bugs in split screen.)

Fun to drive
- The best tracks are fun for both experts and n00bs to drive.
Drops, jumps, loops, fast, drift turns, "tricky but not too hard".
Not too many narrow sections.
