Time passes, for everything and everyone. It's only right that my greatest stadium hit gets a facelift right?
Hello :tmx:! After a lot of time I'm back at making a Fullspeeder. And what better way to return than with a contest map based loosely in my "hit" stadium mini Flowing Smoothly. I take the start, smoothed it out with the new blocks (thanks to Cuba for designing this smoother transition to the ramp a lifetime ago with blockmixing), put a shitton of lights and a new song and built on. The entire map is an evolution of my original, asides from the fact that this time there's no MT at all (since dbs seems to prime overall feel of the track over cinematic presentations).
That's why my AC intro this time is such a deep thought. Lurking around the tubes I found this wonderful Nu Disco song by TwoThirds and Holly Drummond that, at least to me, sounded similar yet miles more complex than the song used in Flowing Smoothly (Robot Science - Day and Night). The track itself is also a more complex and complete version of said track, and the same can be said about scenery and even mood (it's nighttime this time). An ode to how time goes by that not much people would understand as much as I do, because after all the song itself doesn't speak about time passing.
Surprisingly enough, the reasons to build this stadium track are, in a way, very similar to the ones that I had to build my earlier one: Musical inspiration (back then it was Veela, now it's that particular song), new release (Back then it was stad, now it's the new blocks) and a contest to enter. Something tells me you won't see much more stadium from me in a while 8-|
But enough of a presentation, let's head over to the...
TRACK FACTS
:done: 6889 Coppers (Floodlight arena is what it is 8-| )
:done: Completely FS. This made some weird parts in the layout...
:done: Doubl Cobra Loops just because. Dedicated to BliNNeManS and his reuses just because :cool:
:done: 5 Checkpoints, 2 of them are rings.
:done: Not too transitional, but there's some here and there, enough to keep you entertained.
:done: Speed builds up increasingly except for the little offroad part post-doubl-cobra.
:done: I worked to make it respawnable. Some respawns are weird AF tho.
:wait: MT. Nowhere to be expected. There are loopcams and wallcams tho.
:done: Just as a fun fact: Shadow calculation is in high. Took 65 minutes dead, and mapped a total 2001 lights on the track. I said it, floodlight arena :cool: (This is also an advice to use the sunglasses 8-| )
:award: 47.58. It is EASILY beatable.

:done: Screenshot by FT»Lodec. Wallpaper version in this general direction, but mind you that it isn't too big.

THANKS ZONE
This time, it's time to thank Lodec in particular and FT in general for serving as betatesters of this map. I say Lodec in particular because he's basically the only other FT who has Stad. Tuutti too, but he was busy playing Valley with the NFS2 OST as background music. And I ain't hating, I'd do that as well if I could.
Also thanks to Eyebo for hosting the dbs with 16 valley keys up for grabs. I hope I can win one!
Big thanks to philM aka aborttrap for also testing the map. Not too much, but he tested it and liked it.

And so ends another map presentation that I think nobody will read. I just do this for fun tho. I like typing. Remember that if you like the track enough you CAN award it, but you're not forced to. Also remember that just for dropping by and testing I'm already thankful. And of course, if you think it lags, turn dem gfx down because dem lights is stupid. I hope to see you all very soon, maybe even with a Valley map, who knows.
