Certainly, there's quite a few of us still keeping track of this. After all, afaik this topic has never left the first page in Projects & Competitions in its two years of existence!

Also, I haven't uninstalled. It's just that I've plugged in my home computer like twice in the last year or so

Who is actually the main organizer behind this?

I just want to make sure that there is at least someone :d

Afaik, eyebo started the project but Cxom took it over and is still the "leader" of the project, but it's been a while since I've seen him on here :s

Edit: His last post in this forum was on 12 December 2014 :o

Last time I saw Cxom post was in the "TrackMania Turbo Announced" thread on 16-Jun-2015. Still some time ago. As far as I know multiple people are working on the track and still it's taking ages. Maybe we have to admit the project is just too big. We should have put a limit of 15 second per track part or something like that. Now most parts are between 30-60 secs. I'm guessing the driving time of this track will be around 45 minutes! Still hoping for the best though.

From a brief help i gave just reviewing a macro-block with some parts (i think it was 9 parts) i can see this is a LOT of work, it took me hours just to add signs and objects and some blocks to make the route intuitive

Then there is all the admin work that I can imagine is not really motivating for Cxom, requesting reviews, waiting for builders, keeping track of where all the parts go, dealing with really bad track sections, pasting everything together and then realizing that to make it drivable and fun it is a lot of work. not even considering that a lot of people who built parts are probably long gone from the game.

Like a lot of people that keep coming back to check this thread I would still love to see this completed =)

If you are interested in seeing this finished:
I would suggest you hang around the mx IRC channel (click here to join irc) and offer your help to CXOM to help sign up a macro-block.

Keep in mind that this kind of task requires an obsessive attention to detail, and a taste for doing the grunt work of driving the same 10 mins of track over and over to make it as intuitive as possible, adding objects and signs without spoiling the builder's original work.

Please make sure you fit this description before you offer your help to Cxom.

I think if we create some critical mass on the IRC channel we will be able to push this to completion.

Here's the taster again for those who didn't see it before:

Hey guys,

Is there still a place for me?

I had one at the beginning but I didn't have time to finish my part therefore it was redistributed.
Seen that the project is not ended yet, I can add my contribution if necessary.

Apparently Cxom hasn't been o IRC for a while.

I checked xaseco and he was last seen on a server on 2015-09-17
http://www.xaseco.org/metastats.php?mp=cxomtdoh

Seems he's inactive since mid September 2015

I'm going to try to reach out to him to offer to take over the project from him (if he agrees)
This definitely needs to be finished before TM Turbo comes out, otherwise there's no point...
