Hockoliciously Canyonicious

One of the most famous classic tech maps in Stadium is the legendary "ESL-Hockolicious" by Hock, posted to TMX Nations Forever on September 22, 2008. It currently has over 230 awards.

I recently wondered what the map would be like in Canyon. So I decided to remake the map, basing the track layout on the original.

I took a few creative liberties here and there so that the route would fit well with the Canyon car.

Some straights were shortened. Instead of two blocks long, they're usually only one block long here.

The drops are smoother. In Stadium you'd normally drop around 8m when dropping one block space. In Canyon a single block space is 16m high. So the drops were less smooth in Canyon due to the height. The Canyon car also isn't as nice with unsmooth drops. So I smoothed them out where possible.

The original Stadium version starts with a yellow turbo, so I did the same here. However, a lot of your speed bleeds off with all the drifting, so the second half of the map suddenly felt kind of slow. So I've added a second yellow turbo in the middle of the route.

Quite a few new items and custom blocks were created so that I could replicate the route as much as possible.
