os there a new trick to convert tracks?
because i found some of my tmnf maps in tm2 on a server.... but my maps are password protected o_O

Is just editing them protected or the actual tracks? The latter, likely, would let them use them...

The maps are not converted! Only two lightmap images are added.
Because the protected parts of the track aren't changed, you don't need the corresponding password for that.

It doesn't matter anyway, the password protection option in the editor only adds a password for other players to edit the maps. Anybody can still play them.

Is this still working? I was trying to run the command but all the time maniaplanet will start and I will get: Search of matching collections, it will quit and then maniaplanet with sky with no titles is continuing, doing nothing. I am trying this because several older maps I have are password protected through editor and cannot load them in TM2 editor to save them to compute shadows.

Try to replace "Stadium" by "TMStadium" in the command line. I'm not sure if this will work tbh

I know I'm very very very late with this reply but it seems you can open the map in Map Editor. Then all you need to do is Validate it and it works fine!

The need to validate is actually a bug right now.

You shouldn't even have to validate.

And in fact revalidating will mess with the UID of the map, so it's not advised.

I'm not sure if the batch converter will work with TMNF maps, but that's probably a better method for the time being, if it's possible:
