I don't know the cause. TGYoshi would have to look into it, if he hasn't already.

I just wanted to confirm that I had the issue too. I haven't downloaded any maps lately, so I'm not sure if it's fixed for me or not.

It's probably fixed now, was related to install & play (I suspect you were using that?).
