In February we had a small competition, which might've been caused by the short month or the difficulty of the theme?
Nevertheless, here is the winner:

1st Place

I enjoyed this one. A nice, short tech track. There were a couple of turns that could have been pulled off a bit better in my opinion, but otherwise it was very well designed. Yes, we got a tie on the podium's third place. So here are two:

While not necessarily the intended use of CPs for the theme, it gets the job done. Besides, I don't know how anyone would make a good fullspeed otherwise, and you've certainly delivered on that front. Plenty of space, some challenging parts, and great transitions really make this map quite the rush. The intro is quite nice and the GPS is a welcome sight. The scenery overall looks great and the route is unquestionable. Overall, I had a great time on this map. - Arkive

Quite an interesting track. The route itself flowed nicely. I could have used a bit more direction on the track itself, but there was nothing terribly confusing. The GPS certainly helped with pathfinding. I enjoyed the amount of interesting transitions. For the most part they were consistent and predictable, but a couple felt a bit too much like a blind jump. Scenery looked good all around. Overall, it was a nice track that could use a couple more signs. - Arkive

gz arkive... i think that i dont even deserve 3th/4th place ^^ but w/e, the next map will be better

Wow, thanks guys! I thought I had made a pretty decent track, but I wasn't expecting to win! In a way, this MTC has brought me full circle; my first MTC entry was just over a year ago (January 2015). There were only five entries that month, myself included. My map that month was also made in Canyon. Back then, however, my maps were utterly terrible; I got a well deserved last place. I don't regret a thing about it, though! That was the first time I had received true criticism, and my maps have been improving ever since!

I thought we had some very nice submissions for this MTC. Hopefully March will have more entrants; personally, I think it makes the competition much more fun.

GG all, congrats to the winners I was sort of hoping for better, but the lack of time put into my track showed and I certainly agree with the criticism.

Yeah and fred, if you'd given me 6 or higher I'd be 2nd but the votes are the votes! With no comment, I'm not sure why you gave me the second lowest among the scores you gave?
