As said, the 90MC is not dead - Welcome to the fifth edition on May 24rd, 2017, brought to you by   Solux and   iHq/fredair.esu.

The task in this competition is to build a track in 90 minutes or less, according to the theme which is announced at the start of the edition. Before the end of the 90 minute timelimit the track has to be uploaded to MX and a link to the map has then to be posted in this thread (the latter being excluded from the timelimit - only the upload time counts). The competition starts as soon as this post is released.

• The theme of this edition: Free wheeling
  To celebrate ManiaPlanet 4 & the features, we thought of using a theme, that wasn’t possible before: free wheeling. To be exact, 3/4th of your map have to be free wheeling. The time counts, not the distance driven.
  
• General Rules
  • Everything has to be built during the competition timespan - using preexisting maps or macroblocks is not allowed.
    
  • Use the tag [90MC - 5] to mark the track as a part of the competition.
    
  • The map has to be 20 to 90 seconds long.
    
  • All ManiaPlanet Environments & Styles are allowed
    
  • Envimixing is allowed
    
  • Custom Titlepacks are not allowed (you may only use the standard Canyon, Stadium, Valley and Lagoon)
    
  • Custom Objects are allowed
    
  • Oversized base maps are allowed
    
  
  
• Deadline
  The competition starts at 20:00 CEST with this post being released.
  All tracks have to be uploaded to ManiaExchange before 21:30 CEST. If you fail to meet that deadline, one point will be deduced for each minute. Every map not submitted by or updated after 21:45 CEST is automatically disqualified.
  
  • To submit your track, please post a link to it in this thread.
    
  • We will use a different judgins system this time: We will have a closed judging phase with 3 judges.
    
  • There will also be a server containing all the maps which were submitted in this competition. You can join it here: Official 90MC Server
    
  • You are still allowed to modify the MX screenshot and comment after the deadline - just make sure not to change the map
    
  
  
• Prize
  The first place will get a frontpage showcase here on ManiaExchange

There will be 5 criterias, which are judged separately.
Design / 5 points: The overall design / atmohsphere of the track is always an important factor for judging.
Flow / 10 points: This is also very important. Don't make the track to boring.
Fun / 10 points: It's important not to make the track too hard, with almost impossible transitions and such. If you don't have fun driving a track you won't like it :/
Creativity / 10 points: To make the track interesting you are supposed to make it as creative as possible but not too hard.
Theme / 5 points: This is the most important criteria, the theme's execution will be judged here. Only low score today for this category, since it's quite difficult to differentiate usage.

We will have a closed judging phase, the judges are:   Ozon,   Solux, and   iHq/fredair.esu
