MTC - Safari Park:



The map is co-authored by racekadse who is fairly new to TM (two weeks now apart from some minor exposure years ago) so shout outs to her and her creative input without which this map wouldn't exist!
The whole map idea was a growing progress with many ideas stacking onto each other to make a wholesome experience possible. Enjoy this map for the atmosphere and the looks. As the name suggests you will experience a day-trip to an Island you'd never expect!

All content is made with ingame-tools (apart from the signs of course).

I hope the real map can be added to MX in a roundabout way.

I do have a placeholder map here on MX if the admins here can place the real map there instead, that would be awesome (Track ID : 162639 no link as it isn't the map to content for the MTC and merely a placeholder)

It's still April 29th where I am so I hope this isn't too late.

This will be my first entry to the MTC.
I was working on some "Chess" items for some time now and had just finished this map when I read about the MTC and thought it might be fun to enter it. So, I renamed it (adding MTC) and uploaded it.
I don't know if I would call it my most beautiful map but it does have some unique scenery in it.
It has a bit of a Micro Machines feel in some places.
I hope I met all the rules and got this in in time but if not, no worries. I hope people still find this kind of fun and unique.
It is a four lap race and I know not everyone likes those but it is just my style and I gotta be true to me first.

Just played the Safari Park map and I gotta say, I personally think it's one of the most creative maps I've ever played.
The race layout itself is good and fun to drive and not confusing to follow.
The scenery is creative and interesting.
The concept is really cool and very well executed.
I like how it's divided into themed sections.
Smiled when I saw the glass tubes and Loved how they were used in the underwater section.
Loved the Dunes section and the "Lion King" standing on the rock outcrop.
Plus, I spend about 15 minutes just driving (wandering) around the map admiring the work and concepts done here as well as the attention to details and hidden "Easter Eggs".
Gotta say, I think this is major contender.

Aint DLing something that's not on MX on my side, I don't trust anyone.
