I am here with my first real Lagoon map.
Yep! Yesterday, the 23rd of May has been the official release of Lagoon within Maniaplanet.
It is the overall 10th Trackmania environment made by Nadeo, and together with Valley the most beautiful.


The track
Lagoon is beautiful, but difficult to drive in the first attempts. This track tries to be easy to finish for Lagoon beginners, but also being creative. The path from start to finish presents you all major surfaces which the new environment offers. And with that their different driving physics!

Some of the difficult to control surfaces such as beach, I tried to do as simple as possible. There should be enough space in most parts to correct your lines. Due to some slower surfaces here and there, the map has a low average speed in comparison to other Lagoon maps. Except the kinda special finish. ;p

I put a lot of effort into the scenery. I was working now 2 days in total on this map in order to consider each detail. In the scenery are also 5 EasterEggs hidden for some little competition. Furthermore, I put some time into MediaTracker work. There are Intro, Extro and Podium sequences plus some Ingame-MT things including a GPS Ghost, which you can trigger behind the start.
