Welcome to the 6th edition of the 90MC here on tmx, hosted by   Solux &   iHq/fredair.esu.

The task in this competition is to build a track in 90 minutes or less, according to the theme which is announced at the start of the edition. Before the end of the 90 minute timelimit the track has to be uploaded to MX and a link to the map has then to be posted in this thread (the latter being excluded from the timelimit - only the upload time counts). The competition starts as soon as this post is released.

• The theme of this edition: Ying & Yang
  The restriction of this month is to build a map, where drive ~50% of the time on a slippery surface and the other ~50% on non-slippery/grippy. What counts it the time driving on a surface, not the length in km!
  
  
• Defitinion for the surface types:
  • Slippery
    
    • If you start sliding while doing a steering maneuver, that is no powerslide or speed drift on a platform (in case of fullspeed), it counts as slippery
      
    • Examples: Offroad, wooden planks (when using the lagoon car),…
  • non-slippery/grippy
    
    • If you do not slide / drift unless you do a powerslide or speeddrift platform (in case of fullspeed), the surface counts as non-slippery/grippy
      
    • Examples: Platform, road, …
  
  
• General Rules
  • Everything has to be build during the competition timespan - not using preexisting maps.
    
  • Use the tag [90MC - 6] to mark the track as a part of the competition.
    
  • The map has to be 20 to 90 seconds long.
    
  • All ManiaPlanet environments & styles are allowed
    
  • Envimixing is allowed! Be aware that different cars have different physics on surfaces/enviroments!
    
  • Custom Titlepacks are not allowed (you may only use the standard Canyon, Stadium, Valley, Lagoon, and the TM2 titlepack)
    
  • Custom Objects and selfcreated makroblocks are allowed, as long as everyone can open the map! Don't forget to embed blocks!
    
  • Oversized base maps are allowed
    
  
  
• Deadline
  The competition starts at 20:00 CEST with this post being released.
  All tracks have to be uploaded to ManiaExchange before 21:30 CEST. If you fail to meet that deadline, one point will be deduced for each minute. Every map not submitted by or updated after 21:45 CEST is automatically disqualified.
  
  • To submit your track, please post a link to it in this thread.
    
  • We will use a different judging system this time: We will have a closed judging phase with 3 judges. The judges will be   eyebo,   Solux, and   iHq/fredair.esu.
    
  • There will also be a server containing all the maps which were submitted in this competition. You can join it here: Official 90MC Server
    
  • You are still allowed to modify the MX screenshot and comment after the deadline - just make sure not to change the map
    
  
  
• Prize
  The first place will get a frontpage showcase here on ManiaExchange
